The Spring Edition

Following the huge success of last September’s debut event, Chelmsford For You is thrilled to welcome back the Chelmsford Cocktail Weekend, returning to the city centre from 27–29 March 2026.

This Spring edition promises another three-day, city-wide celebration of mixology and nightlife, shining a spotlight on Chelmsford’s vibrant hospitality scene. Cocktail lovers will be invited to explore the very best bars, restaurants and nightlife venues across the city centre, each showcasing their creativity and flair.

Every participating venue has crafted an exclusive signature cocktail and mocktail, available only to Chelmsford Cocktail Weekend wristband holders. These specially created drinks will be offered at a fixed price of £6 for cocktails and £5 for mocktails, giving you the perfect excuse to sample your way around the city. With 20 venues taking part, there’s an incredible variety of flavours and experiences to enjoy throughout the weekend.

But that’s not all. Your wristband also unlocks a range of additional perks, including exclusive food and experience offers at selected venues. Many venues will also be hosting extended happy hours, live music and DJs, making it a true celebration of Chelmsford’s nightlife.

Get your Wristbands

Wristbands can be purchased in advance for £5 (+ booking fee) and collected from The Social, 14 Baddow Road, Chelmsford CM2 0DG, next to The Courtyard.

A proportion of every wristband sold will be donated to Chelmsford Pubwatch, supporting its work to promote safer nights out across the city.

Essex Spirits CO.

We are local. We are sustainable. We are quality. 

Founded during the first lockdown of 2020, Essex Spirits Co was started by ex-cocktail bartender Zane Chiswell-Rivas. His passion was evident, to make delicious spirits for enjoyment both home & behind the bar. His aim was simple – to give Essex a distillery to be proud of, by showcasing the best of local produce, using sustainable methods & most importantly making every drop memorable.  

Affectionately known as 'The Essex Distillery', they are Chelmsford’s first ever commercial distillery. From their humble beginnings (in Zane's gran’s garage) they've grown to share their exceptional spirits with enthusiasts around the world.

Each bottle tells a story of craftsmanship, passion, and dedication to quality, all done while trying to make a positive impact on both the environment & our local society.
