One of Chelmsford For You’s key missions is to help enhance our city centre’s reputation as the county’s leading nighttime destination. We aim to establish it as a thriving hub of nightlife, where visitors, workers and residents can feel safe and enjoy a diverse range of entertainment.

We’re here to support and champion the unsung heroes of the night, from bar staff to restaurants and leisure venues to SOS Bus. Together, we strive to make Chelmsford’s nightlife an inclusive and welcoming environment for all who step out after dark.

To help us deliver this we have appointed a new Nighttime Economy Advisor who will focus on overseeing our nighttime plan of action.
