Calling all the eggs-plorers out there…once again Chelmsford For You needs YOUR help this Easter! For the third year running, the Easter Bunny is heading back to Chelmsford and is ready to hide Easter Eggs on the windows of a number of our brilliant city centre businesses for the Easter Holidays (Friday 29 March – Sunday 14 April). There’s just one problem, we don’t know how many there’ll be!!
We need YOU to hatch a plan and hunt down the Easter Eggs and count how many eggs you can find. If you get the correct number, you’ll be entered into our prize draw to win some super EGG-cellet prizes: including hampers, Easter Egg bundles and more.
What’s even more EGG-citing is this year, to celebrate the return of The Chelmsford Takeover (Sunday 13 April), the Eggs will be getting into the spirit and adopting a SUPER hero theme.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
🐣 The Super Easter eggs will be drawn in the windows of a number of businesses across the city including the High Street, Springfield Road, Baddow Road, Tindal Street, Bond Street, High Chelmer, the Meadows and Duke Street.
🐰 The hunt will be in place from Friday 29 March – Sunday 14 April and the full list of shops and trail score card will be available to download right here *
🎀 All you need to do is hunt them down, look for the bundles of eggs drawn on each participating shop’s windows and count how many there are – each bundle will have between 1 and 5 eggs and there will be 1 bundle per shop window.
🎉 Once you’ve got all the numbers simply add them together and submit the total for your chance to win those prizes, that’s it! *

The Competition
A city-wide family Easter Egg Hunt - organised and run solely by Chelmsford For You, the city’s Business Improvement District, funded by city centre businesses.
Competition opening and closing dates
The competition opens: Friday 29 March 2024
The competition closes: Sunday 14 April 2024 – 23:59
Easter Egg Hunt will be in place from Friday 29 March – Sunday 14 April 2024. Entries will need to be submitted by the entry form on www.chelmsfordforyou.co.uk/super-easter-egg-hunt
Entry and winners
One winner per prize will be randomly selected and notified via email to the address provided when entrants submit answers.
Conditions of entry
The competition is free to enter. Any expenses incurred in the process of entering the competition will not reimbursed.
The competition is open to everyone. All information detailing how to enter the competition forms part of the terms and conditions.
Each entrant may submit only one entry.
Winners will be randomly selected and entries must be submitted by 11.59 on 18 April 2022.
Winners must respond to their notification emails within 14 days to redeem their prize.
The prizes cannot be exchanged or transferred.
Listed prizes are subject to change dependent on availability.
