Coming to HotBox in Chelmsford, Katy For Kings & BAXTR; both artists discovered through BBC Introducing, will be performing on Friday 17th December 2021 to an excited crowd!
If you love discovering new music and having a good time, this one’s for you! Tickets are live now on DICE and SeeTickets
BAXTR are a DIY, all-female Indie Pop trio hailing from London, UK and Essex, now residing on a morphing crystal ship in Dreamspace. Welcome aboard the starship BAXTR. It’s weird, loud, proud and nerdy; fuelled by camaraderie and the power of play, and it’s here to help you escape mundanity and transcend reality, one bold, bubblegrunge pop song at a time. Close friends of 10 years, the BAXTR girls have long shared the vision of being in a band together. In the mire of a pandemic Spring, BAXTR – a force for joy and empowerment; a symbol of dreams unfurling… finally became real. They self released and promoted their first 3 singles without ever all being able to be in the same room. Their 4th single, In Pop We Trust, is the first track that BAXTR have been able to record in each other’s company!

Now, just days away from her 21st birthday, Clash magazine calls Katy for Kings “A potent pop force who is scarcely out of her teens.
