CAROLINE PHILP

Caroline Philp was born in Sharnbrook Bedfordshire. After leaving school at 17, she attended Barnfield college in Luton where she did a Foundation Art course and then qualified for a place on the theatre design course at Wimbledon School of Art.
She moved to Corfu Greece in 1978 where she lived till 2016, working as an interior designer and specialist painter, concentrating mainly on painted murals for commercial interiors and private residences both in Greece and London. She had a few group and solo exhibitions of her paintings in various galleries in Corfu. In 2011 she opened her own little gallery/ workshop where she made and painted everything she sold, using natural materials such as drift wood, old Greek roof tiles and pebbles from the beaches. She had the shop for two years.
In 2016 she  made the move back to the UK and now lives and works in Essex.
